We meet at our agency at 09:00 in the morning and start our 47km, approximately 1-hour journey by departing in front of our agency at 09:30 with our private vehicle. We arrive in Maçka at 10:30 with our panoramic journey along Değirmendere and continue along the Altındere valley to Altındere, where the Sumela Monastery is located.
We arrive at Altındere National Park, where the Sumela Monastery is located, at 10:50. Since the monastery is under renovation, we see the monastery from the observation deck, meet our vehicle and continue on our way. We cross the Zigana Pass, where we used the historical silk road connecting the Black Sea to the Southeast, and arrive at the magnificent Karaca Cave in Cebeli Village, within the borders of Torul district of Gümüşhane province. After our break here, we return with our vehicle and optionally stop by the Panoramic Observation Terrace in Torul, which is open depending on the weather and time conditions, spend a pleasant and exciting time and continue to Hamsiköy. After our rice pudding break in this old village famous for its dairy products, we head to Trabzon to complete our tour. We arrive in Trabzon around 17:30 and say goodbye to meet on another Ulutour trip.
